The Czech organization added Richard “ritchiEE” Mestdagh and Niclas “PlesseN” Plessen to their ranks
Entropiq's roster is now complete with the latest signings of Richard “ritchiEE” Mestdagh and Niclas “PlesseN” Plessen. The Czech outfit took to Twitter to announce the duo’s arrival. Rudolf “Rutk0” Kovalčik, who is leaving on free agency, and Josef “MoriiSko” Maurenc, who will leave the team after the end of Tipsport Bratislava in May, will make way for the new recruits.
We're glad to welcome two new CS:GO players!@Ajtt_cs, @redcsgod and @snatchiecsgo will be joined by @ritchiEEcsgo, a long-time eClub Brugge player, and @PlesseNCS2, who used to play with Team Finest in the top 20.
The line-up is thus purely international, as are our ambitions. pic.twitter.com/ooDjUHsjrx— Entropiq (@Entropiqteam) April 28, 2023
These signings usher in a new era for Entropiq as they are moving away from their dependence on Czech and Slovakian talents. Their current active roster now has players of five different nationalities. Entropiq used to operate a Russian roster besides a local one. They have disbanded their Russian team and focused on their local side. Entropiq have now gone fully international after their latest acquisitions.
Who Are Entropiq’s Latest Signings?
The two new signings, ritchiEE and PlesseN, have a wealth of experience in the lower echelons of the European CS:GO scene. ritchiEE played for EC Brugge on three different occasions over the course of a year, as well as a brief stint with GORILLAZ that ended after less than a month. The Belgian rifler’s most recent venture involved teaming up with Niels Christian “NaToSaphiX” Sillassen in undefined earlier this year. However, the team was unable to secure the necessary support from an organization and had to disband.
The 24 year-old’s recent stats reflect his outstanding form. Over the past year, he has maintained an average rating of 1.19, largely through his participation in several CCT events.
PlesseN joins the team as a free agent after his previous team Finest dissolved their roster last October. He has made a name for himself in the Swedish scene, having played for Red Reserve, Chaos, and Galaxy Racer.
“I welcome both players to Entropiq and look forward to watching their performance. We are continuing to build the team so that we can gradually become one of the top teams at the international level. We will continue to evaluate our progress before entering the CS2 period,” Entropiq Gaming Director Pavel Klaban said about the new signings.
