Edward Returns To The Competitive CS:GO Scene, Creates Team Selectah

Edward is back in the scene with Selectah.

Former Natus Vincere and Winstrike player, the legend of CIS and worldwide Counter-Strike, Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev has returned to competitive play. Recently, he played in CTRL PLAY League qualifiers with the roster of team Selectah.

Alongside Edward, team Selectah consists of Aurimas “Kvik” Kvaksis and Sergey “smike” Sklyarenko, QBF and pro100 players respectively.

The last team Edward played on was Winstrike, where he played under their banner from May to September of 2019. Then he went temporarily inactive. Before Winstrike, Edward had been playing for many years with Natus Vincere.

Though CTRL PLAY League (a CIS CS:GO event with a prize pool of about ~$30,000) qualifier #1 was not successful for Selectah, and the team haven’t registered for the next qualifiers, they most likely they will keep playing with the following roster:

  • Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev
  • Aurimas “Kvik” Kvaksis
  • Sergey “smike” Sklyarenko
  • Roman “tappa” Medvedev
  • Akashi
