Now, alongside the qualifications for the MDL Paris Major, the open qualifiers for DotaPit are also starting in just a few days from now.
Open Qualifiers for DotaPit
The Open Qualifiers will be played in a single elimination, best-of-one format. EU, NA and China will receive three slots for the Closed Quals. On the other hand, SA, CIS and SEA will only have two representatives there.

The Closed Qualifiers, which start on April 3rd – 6th, will feature eight teams from each region. They will play in a single, Bo3 format. An interesting fact is that besides the teams that will qualify through the Open Qualifiers, the other teams are going to be those who failed to qualify for MDL Disneyland Paris Major.
The winners of each Closed Qualifier will get a slot at the Minor. In addition, the Chinese and European region will also add the second-placed teams.
