We break down all four teams across group B and their chances of winning at the Minor.
The WePlay! Bukovel Minor is the second “small” tournament in the 2019-2020 DPC. Nevertheless, it's still a very important tournament, especially for some of the teams there. Apart from the $300K USD prize pool, this event also provides DPC point and a slot for the Leipzig Major that begins in just a couple of days later.
With that said, let’s take a look at the teams in the “group of death” – Group B. Regardless of what people say, this is definitely the stronger group out of the two.
Group B

The first team in this group is the NA powerhouse FP. Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao’s team is slowly but steadily becoming a leading force in the region. Despite the rough beginning, they are now starting to finally show their prowess.
As a result, Fighting PandaS is now one of the main favorites to win the entire tournament. Although this might seem impossible for some, do not underestimate the power of the Canadian team. After all, it has some of the most experienced players that have proven themselves over time.
Nigma
We did it! The golden ticket for the WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 is ours!

It’s safe to say that Nigma is the strongest team in this tournament. That’s why they are also the biggest favorite to take that last slot for the Leipzig Major as well. However, it is important to remember that the ex-Team Liquid hasn’t had that much practice after their break.
As you know, Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi and his team-mates decided to take a long break after TI 9. This definitely had an effect on their playstyle because they failed to qualify for the Leipzig Major. Nevertheless, at least they will be going to Bukovel, which is still a glimmer of hope for TI 7 champions.

The CIS team is probably one of the most underrated teams in professional Dota 2. Even though they’ve proven themselves numerous times in the last year, many people still see them as just “another team that fills in a slot”. However, that’s far away from the truth.
In fact, Gambit might just be the best CIS team in the world right now. As you know, the long-ranging hegemon in this scene Virtus.Pro drastically changed its roster. As a result, this gave the other teams the chance to sit on the driving train. That’s why the CIS Dota 2 scene is one of the most interesting regions right now.

Although FURIA aren't as strong as beastcoast, they are still a very capable team. The Brazillian squad is one of the leading forces in the South American Dota 2 scene and as such, they're definitely scary.
At least on paper, however, their chances of exiting this group are very slim. As you know, only the first two teams from the group will advance in the Playoffs. In other words, the bottom two from each group will be eliminated.
FURIA Esports really need to step up their game if they want to survive here. After all, they will have to go against some of the best teams in the world right now.
The second Minor of this DPC begins in just three days from now. Be sure to watch it live because every single series is going to be epic. However, if you won’t get the chance, ESTNN will be providing daily coverage to keep you up to date on all the action.
