Dota 2: VP are Out, Gambit are In – ESL One Birmingham News

One of the best teams in the world has decided to drop out of ESL One Birmingham 2019. The reason for that yet again is conflicts with the scheduling. This means that this years’ event will have a new champion.

According to ESL, VP has decided not to attend their event. Instead, the other top CIS team – Gambit Esports will fill in the spit.

Virtus.Pro’s General Manager said in an official statement that “the current DPC season schedule has taken its toll and as we approach the peak of the season we need to focus on preparation for home Major and The International.” In addition, VP will also play at the Adrenaline Cyber League 2019 in Moscow. This event is also close to ESL One, which further increases the difficulty of playing there.

The Tournament

ESL One Birmingham starts in around one month for now. As always, it will feature some of the best teams in the world. Expect more information regarding this tournament soon. In the meantime, feel free to follow us on Twitter for the latest Dota 2 & esports news.
