Here's what happened in the Grand Final of this fantastic event.

Vici Gaming and PSG.LGD are two of the best teams in the Chinese Dota 2 scene right now. Thus, they had to play a few times against each other lately but it seems like PSG.LGD always had the upper hand, until now.

Despite the fact that Lu "Somnus丶M" Yao’s ex-team won in the upper bracket, Vici Gaming was able to bounce back from the LB after they eliminated EHOME. Following the victory, it was time for yet another rematch between the two powerhouses. This time, the stakes were the OGA Dota PIT Season 3: China’s title.

What happened?

These two teams played two times in the event prior to this match and LGD was victorious in both of the BO3 series. That’s why Wang "Ame" Chunyu and his team-mates were pretty confident going to this matchup. On the other hand, Vici Gaming was eager to get revenge, which is why the fans were eager to see what would happen.

Despite the fact that LGD didn't lose a single series before this match, Vici Gaming was capable of delivering its knock-out punch and managed to claim the reward. The first game of the series was probably the most interesting one because both teams were constantly involved in team fights. Neither of the teams was able to get a clear lead over the other until the late game arrived. LGD tried to pull a rabbit out of their hat by baiting with one of their players, which allowed the infamous IO and Tiny combo to finish the game.

After this heavy loss, most of the people watching thought that Vici would be demoralized and lose the second game as well. However, this wasn’t the case. In fact, they seemed even more motivated because they completely ripped through their opponents. As a result, they managed to equalize the series.

A tense series

Following the victory, Vici decided to choose one of the heroes that they rarely lose with - Zeng “Ori” Jiaoyang’s Snapfire. Sadly, even he was not enough to carry his team to victory. Despite winning the laning stage, PSG.LGD was able to bounce back and eventually win the game.

Ori and his team-mates didn’t want to lose yet another series against their opponents, which is why they completely ran over LGD in game four. This was one of those games where they grabbed the lead early on and didn’t allow their enemies to do anything about it.

The last game of the series was similar to the fourth one. Vici was once again in the driver's seat, which is why they didn’t give their opponents any glimmer of hope. This was PSG.LGD’s first loss in the OGA Dota PIT Season 3: China, but that doesn’t matter because the loss was in the Grand Final.

After the victory, Vici Gaming has officially won the tournament two times. If you want to learn more about any of the upcoming Dota 2 events, make sure you follow ESTNN.
