Dota 2: Vici And CDEC To Go Head To Head In The Dota Pit Season 2 China Grand Finals

Vici Gaming will have to go up against CDEC in the OGA Dota Pit Season 2: China.

The OGA Dota Pit Season2: China is slowly coming to an end. This tournament brought together some of the top teams in the region. We got to see loads of great series, including some really memorable ones.

In the end though, there are only two teams left in the fight for the big prize pool Vici Gaming and CDEC Gaming. Both of them have earned their place in the Grand Final, which is why it will really interesting to see what will happen. One thing is for certain though only one of them will be the winner.

What happened so far?

If you’ve followed the event so far you probably know that Vici and CDEC already met two times here. The first series between the two powerhouses was during the group stage. Even though people thought that Zhang "Eurus" Chengjun and his team-mates will be the winners, this turned out to be false as CDEC claimed the victory.

The next clash between the two teams was in the final of the upper bracket. Vici was once again the favorites and this time, they’ve managed to succeed. However, it was not a walk in the park as CDEC did everything in their power to prevent the loss. Sadly, their efforts were not enough as they sank in the lower bracket.

There, Wang "Ame" Chunyu and co. had to battle against another really strong team, which was Royal Never Give Up. Du “Monet” Peng and his squad played really well in this event as well, so this clash was really interesting to watch.

Even though RNGU had their chances, CDEC was just too much for them to handle. After two quick games, they managed to win and eliminate their opponents from the event. One of the main reasons for their success was Zeus, which is a hero that CDEC often goes for. Even though he can be easily countered, RNGU failed to do so and suffered the consequences.  The final game of the series saw an expected Slark pick from Monet but this still wasn't enough. CDEC once again had the better draft and completely ripped through their enemies.

Don't miss the epic series tomorrow between the best two teams in China right now. As we said, both of them deserve to be here, so whatever happens, it's sure to be exciting. No doubt, CDEC will be eager to take revenge on their rivals. But the question is, will they be able to do so?
