Ninjas in Pyjamas used to be one of the hidden favorites for TI 9. In fact, they looked exceptionally strong before the event after securing a couple of trophies in a row. However, they completely crumbled during the Group Stage and became one of the first teams to get eliminated from the event.
As expected, shortly after the tournament finished, the team pretty much disbanded. Despite that, Peter “ppd “Dager decided to rebuild it from the ground up, which means that he will continue to captain NiP in the upcoming 2019-2020 DPC season.

Oliver “Skiter” Lepko, Malthe “Biver” Winther, Nico “Gunnar” Lopez and Saahil “Universe” Arora will be joining sides with ppd in what looks to be a pretty exciting lineup which has a mixture of TI winners and people from the tier 2 scene.
Undeniably the most interesting player of all is Universe. Ever since he left EG, the legendary offlaner tried his luck in a couple of teams. However, he was nowhere near as successful as he was in the NA powerhouse. That’s why after spending some time in Forward Gaming, he decided to take some time off.
On the other hand, Gunnar became famous a couple of months ago. Sadly, it was not due to his skill but due to the fact that he got kicked from Team Team just a couple of days before the MDL Disneyland Paris Major.
Conclusion
There is still no confirmation whether the team will be playing in EU or NA. Having said that, NA is definitely the more comfortable choice right now because the European Dota 2 scene is super competitive.
Ninjas in Pyjamas roster from 1 to 5:
Oliver “Skiter” Lepko
Nico “Gunnar” Lopez
Saahil “Universe” Arora
Malthe “Biver” Winther
Peter “ppd” Dager
