We take a look at some of the most interesting aspects of this Battle Pass.
If you’re actively playing Dota 2, you definitely saw the big update that took place just a few hours ago. After waiting for a few weeks more than we should’ve, we finally got the chance to purchase the TI10 Battle Pass.
Even though everyone expected a lot from it, it’s safe to say that all of us were surprised by all of the awesome prizes that we can get. In addition to the usual things that come along with each Battle Pass, for the first time ever, we have the chance of unlocking not one, not two, but three separate Arcanas! As if that’s not enough, there are also two personas — one for Pudge and one for Anti-Mage.
With that said, here are few other notable things that you should be aware of before purchasing it:
The Cavern Crawl
Also known as Jungle Expedition from last year, this pretty cool mode is back yet again. Similar to 2019, you have to play different heroes and try to reach the end of a maze. If you’re successful, you can win some pretty fancy sets for Nyx, Slark, and Spirit Breaker.
Many of you might not remember, but a few years ago, Dota 2 used to have guilds. However, the option wasn’t so popular, so it was removed. Now, it seems like Valve will try to implement it once more, but this time things are a little bit different. Once you join or you form a guild, you have to work alongside your allies to level it up, so that you can win some pretty cool rewards.
As we’ve mentioned in the beginning, this year’s Battle Pass is truly unique. If you remember a few years ago, Valve decided to allow everyone who reached a certain level to get a free IO arcana. After last year’s arcana for ES, now, we will be able to get a total of three arcanas for the following heroes;
- Wraith King (level 375)
- Queen of Pain (level 445)
- Windranger (level 575)
One of the main features of last year’s BP was the Invoker persona. This new type of item changes the way the hero looks and it’s still used by many people today. This year, Valve decided to release two new personas — one for Pudge and one for Anti-Mage. In order to obtain the first one, you have to be level 255, whereas the second one can be unlocked once you get to level 305.
Last, but definitely not least, let’s not forget one of the most popular aspects of every Battle Pass - the Immortals! Right now, we only know what we can find in the first chest. However, Valve will release the following ones as time goes on.
Apart from everything we’ve mentioned, there are also all sorts of crazy taunts, voice lines, and more. There is even a special event called “Special Summer Event”, but it’s still not available. Needless to say, it will be pretty awesome to try it out.
