Here are three of the most dangerous players at the upcoming Major.
DreamLeague Season 13 (a.k.a the Leipzig Major) is about to begin and by the looks of it, it will be an amazing tournament. Now that the dust from the Minor has settled, all Dota 2 fans are waiting for this tournament.
The prizes
We will be able to see sixteen of the best teams in the world playing live in Germany. Apart from the gigantic $1M USD prize pool, they will also fight for 15k DPC points. As you know, the teams need those points in order to qualify for TI 10.
Having said that, let’s take a look at some of the best players at this tournament. Keep it in mind that this list is entirely subjective, so your choice of players might be different.
Zhang “Eurus” Chengjun
Right now, we can safely say the Eurus (Paparazzi) is the best Chinese player in the world. He has been absolutely flawless in the last couple of months. Needless to say, he played a major part in all of Vici’s success. Although not everyone will agree, we believe that he was the MVP of the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational.
Judging by their recent performance, we can safely say that Vici is the big favorite for this Major. However, they will have to go up against the absolute best teams, so it won’t be easy.
Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi
It’s hard to fine the words to describe Miracle- over the last couple of years, he has proven himself as one of the best players in the world. Ever since his humble beginnings in OG, he has been a huge superstar.
However, his career definitely sky-rocketed once he joined Team Liquid (now Nigma). Thanks to his amazing skills, the European powerhouse got TI 7 trophy. In fact, they nearly did this the same in 2019 but OG managed to prevail.
Just a couple of days ago, Miracle- was out of this world again during the Bukovel Minor. If he plays like this in the Leipzig Major, Nigma will probably win again.
Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov
The Bulgarian prodigy was one of the strongest newcomers in 2019. He came a long way since his humble beginnings in the tier two scene. After playing for Mineski during TI 9, the player is now a part of the newly formed Alliance. Even though they’ve only been together for a couple of months, they still proved themselves as one of the best teams in the region.
Nikobaby has an amazing mixture of raw talent and aggressive playstyle. This makes him very dangerous and unpredictable, which are two very important characteristics for a carry player.
With him by their side, Alliance is looking to make their biggest mark yet. However, we are yet to see if they have what it takes to stand their ground against the best teams in the world.
