The numbers are in and it looks like the WePlay! Bukovel Minor is our most-watched DPC Minor ever.
The second Minor of the 2019-2020 DPC was a joy to watch. We saw some of the best teams in the world fighting in front of a live audience in Ukraine. Apart from the sheer quality of the teams, the organizers are the ones to “blame” for the awesomeness of this tournament.
Breaking records
🥳 Congratulations to the champion of the #BukovelMinor – @teamnigma! 🥳

Now, a couple of days later, it turned out that the WePlay! Bukovel Minor that took place from the 9th to the 12th of January 2020 became the most-watched Minor ever.
The numbers themselves are just jaw-dropping. According to the official statistics, every single series was followed by over 93K people, which is just insane. Nevertheless, the pinnacle of all this was the Grand Finals. Nigma and Royal Never Give up gather over 230K viewers from all over the world.
Although the statistic seems shocking at first, there is a reason for them. After all, apart from the high-quality Dota 2 games, we saw some of the most innovative and engaging production in a while.
The next tournament hosted by WePlay! is called Tug of War: Mad Moon. Despite not being a DPC event, it will still have a massive $300K USD prize pool. Having said that, we are yet to see the names of all participants. Expect more information about it soon as the event begins on the 19th of February.
