Dota 2: The International 10 Prize Pool Sets A New Record

TI 10 has broken yet another record.

Even though we have no information about the future of The International 10, the event managed to break the prize pool of last year’s TI. In case you’ve forgotten, TI 9 was the event with the highest prize pool in esports history.

However, due to the amazing Battle Pass that Valve decided to release, this year’s prize pool is now even bigger. Unlike last year when the community needed 111 days to achieve the result, this time, it took just 92 days.

What’s even more special about everything is that there is an ongoing pandemic. Needless to say, most analyzers thought that this would have a serious impact on the prize pool but they were wrong.

What’s next?

Currently, The International 10’s prize pool is sitting at over $34M USD. However, there are still two more weeks until the Battle Pass comes to an end, so it’s going to pretty interesting to see how much higher it could get.

Don’t forget we've yet to see Windranger’s Arcana; which is one of the best features of this Battle Pass. Once it’s out, the prize pool could easily reach over $35M USD. Also, don’t forget that we also have the Immortal Treasure III still to come.

Sadly, Valve hasn't provided any clear information regarding TI 10’s future dates. We can only hope that we'll see the event soon because that's what every Dota 2 fan is waiting for.
