EPICENTER have just announced they'll host another DPC Major, to be held May 2020 in Russia.
2019 was an amazing year for every Dota 2 fan out there. We saw tons of interesting tournaments and memorable moments.
The year finished with the amazing ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational. Despite not being included in the DPC, the $500K USD prize pool tournament was a joy to watch. However, now that it’s over, people are slowly preparing to wave goodbye to 2019. And hello to 2020.
The New Major

So far, only one Major has been played and that’s the Chengdu Major. The Leipzig Major will be held in January, whereas in March, we will be able to see the ESL One Los Angeles Major.
In addition to these, we now also know the name of the fourth Major. The EPICENTER Major, set to be held in Russia in May 2020. EPICENTER have been a part of Dota 2’s DPC for several years in a row. In fact, many fans and players alike love the tournaments that are organized by the company.
According to the announcement, the playoffs will be held in the double elimination system. Stage one will take place May 4-6 in a studio format. The Finals are scheduled for May 8-10.
Needless to say, this will be a very interesting Major to watch. Not only is it going to provide a massive prize pool, but it is also one of the last DPC events, which means that it might be the last chance for some teams to get that sweet direct invite for TI 10.
