All ex-Team Liquid players recently tweeted a short clip where they were staring at an eclipse. As you can imagine, this led to many rumors about the new name of their organization. There were suggestions such as twilight, eclipse – and even things like the dark sun (yeah, not a fan). However, it turns out that the new organization will go by the name of Nigma.
As of today, there is no information about when to expect the new organization in action. It is possible that we will see Kuro and his team-mates in the upcoming qualifiers. However, they might decide to take an even longer break.
In case you haven’t followed the Dota 2 scene recently, Liquid’s Dota 2 roster left the organization after TI 9. This came as a shock at the time because they’ve been a part of the organization for over two years. Even though there were no controversies surrounding them, the TI 7 winners wanted to try something new.
Around a month and a half later, this is the result – Nigma Esports.
