With just a couple of days left until the first DPC event begins, Quincy Crew’s strongest player decided to leave the team. Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan’s departure happened due to “fit issues”. Saying that this was expected is not an overstatement because the team had too many core players in once place.
Slowly but steadily, the newly formed NA team was running out of time. That’s why they decided to add Jonáš “SabeRLight-” Volek to their roster. Even though the Czech player is very young, he has already proved himself in Singularity as a very capable player. Prior to that, he played for Hippomaniacs and had a lot of success in the tier 2 scene. In fact, they even managed to reach the TI 9 regional qualifier finals but lost to Chaos Esports Club.
Summit 11 will begin in around three weeks from now. Apart from having some of the best teams in the world, the first Minor will include a $300K prize pool as well. Whether Jonas will be able to fill in the gap left by Sumail is still up in the air. However, one thing is certain – Quincy Crew will definitely try to win this event.
