Dota 2: Royal Never Give Up Roster Changes

Royal Never Give Up announce new roster shuffle ahead of the next regional DPC qualifiers.

Royal Never Give Up was one of the most interesting Chinese teams last season. They played very well in nearly every single tournament they’ve been in.

Unfortunately, the new season didn’t start all that well for then. After a couple of roster changes, the team couldn’t qualify for the Summit 11 Minor, the MDL Chengdu Major and ESL One Hamburg 2019. However, the next DPC qualifiers are starting in just a week from now, which is why RNGU decided that it’s time to change their roster yet again.

Changes

The interesting thing about the roster change is that only the support players are new. This means that all three core players will be the same. Lu “Fenrir” Chao and Gao “dogf1ght” Tianpeng have been replaced by Xie “Super” Junho and Xue “ September” Zhichuan. Although it’s not been officially announced, the information is on Valve’s registration page.

RNGU’s roster from 1 to 5:

  • Du “Monet” Peng
  • Gao “Setsu” Zhenxiong
  • Su “Flywin” Lei
  • Xue “September” Zhicuan
  • Xie “Super” Junhao

We will most likely see the new roster in action next week when the qualifiers begin. The Chinese Dota 2 scene is very competitive right now, so it’s not going to be easy for Monet and his squad. Despite that, if they bring the same performance as last season, it will be just like a walk in the park.
