Dota 2: RAMZES666 and Solo Disband Dota Team

Solo and RAMZES666 disband Dota Team after EPIC League S3.

The EPIC League Season 3 (S3) tournament was the first tournament played by Dota Team. And it will effectively be the last. The Russian players, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev and Alexey “Solo” Berezin, assembled this team on March 4 in order to participate in EPIC League S3. Division 1 of the tournament doesn’t end until March 21 but the team was prematurely eliminated after losing to Brame and Hellraisers.

According to Bogden “Iceberg” Vasilenko, Solo and RAMZES666 had already told him that Dota Team would be a short stint. Iceberg, who is a member of Na’Vi, revealed this information on his Twitch live stream before the tournament began.

Solo and RAMZES666 have temporarily played in different squads over the past few months. Because of this, the quick end of Dota Team comes as no surprise. The Russian players both formerly played Virtus.pro. Solo did for four years before joining NoTechies and RAMZES666 for three years before joining Evil Geniuses. Both currently remain on the inactive rosters of NoTechies and Evil Geniuses.

NoTechies will be playing in the Lower Division next season and it seems likely that RAMZES666 will join him as the rest of the players left the team. NoTechies finished last in the CIS 2021 DPC Season 1: Upper Division which is what caused other members to leave.

The Dota Team roster included other members: Rostislav “fn” Lozovol, Alexey “nongrata” Vasilyev and Rinat “KingR” Abdullin.
