Dota 2: Pieliedie Joins Forces with Forward Gaming & VP to Play with a Stand-in

Forward Gaming

FG is among the most interesting teams of this DPC season. They have had a lot of ups and downs but it seems like they were just unable to utilize their full potential. That’s why it is no surprise that the NA squad decided that it is time to make some changes.

Yawar and Co. started the OGA Dota Pit Minor very strong. However, after several bad series, they finished in the 5th/6th place, which is certainly not what they wanted or expected.

FG added two new players in March but shortly after that, Kitrak, one of the additions, got replaced by Pieliedie. The Swedish player will take position 5 as well as the team's captain role.

The first big challenge ahead of Pieliedie and Co. will ESL One Birmingham which starts in May.

Forward Gaming’s roster from 1 to 5:

  • Yawar
  • CCnC
  • Sneyking
  • MSS
  • pieleidie

Virtus.Pro

Virtus.Pro is yet again the first team that secured a spot for TI 9. That’s one of the main reasons why they decided to drop out of ESL One Birmingham 2019. They want to focus on preparing themselves for TI plus there was also a schedule conflict.

The CIS powerhouse will take part in the upcoming Adrenaline Cyber League. However, instead of Pavel’9pasha’Khvastunov, Rostislav’fn’Lozovoi will play as a stand-in. As we know, FN used to play with the VP roster before, most notably in the Kuala Lumpur Major qualifiers.

VP’s General Manager said that they are extremely thankful for FN’s help. The interesting fact is that he will actually be taking the position one role from Ramzes, who has to play as an offlaner. This is definitely very strange, considering the fact that the young prodigy is probably the best carry in the world.
