A while back, the legendary League of Legends team SK Telecom T1 decided its high time to try their luck in the Dota 2 scene too. As a result, the organization announced its new roster days before TI 9 came to an end. Initially, there was only one player – Lee “Forev” Sang-don.
Many people thought that this will be an entirely Korean roster, similar to MVP Phoenix before. However, this is not the case.

As of today, there are two new players to T1’s roster – Johan “pieliedie” Astrom and Christian “Skadi” John Abasolo. Definitely the more famous out of the two is Pieliedie. The Swedish superstar used to be a part of Team Secret a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, after a couple of unsuccessful results, he was removed from the roster. His last team was Newbee but things were not looking good there either.
On the other hand, Skadi is a new player in the T1 scene. He used to play carry for a couple of lower-tier teams before so we can assume that he will be taking this role here too. If that’s the case, T1 still needs to get a mid laner and another support to finish their roster. The good thing is that there is still time left as the quals for the next DPC events begin in December. Who knows, we might have a new SEA powerhouse on our hands.
