Dota 2: OGA Dota Pit Season 4: China Is Coming Soon

Another Dota 2 tournament is coming to China and is starting soon.

The Chinese Dota 2 scene currently has two active tournaments, each of which is fantastic. Apart from them, we’ve just learned that there will be one more event, which is the OGA Dota PIT. Dota Pit will return once again in China for its fourth season. In case you’ve forgotten, the last one was a few months ago.

What do we know about it?

OGA Dota PIT Season 4: China will take place from December 3-12. This means that this will be the last event on patch 7.27 because Valve will release the new update just a few days after the end of the tournament.

Dota Pit will once again bring the best teams in the region. Apart from PSG.LGD (who have been in excellent form recently), we will also see Elephant.4AM, Aster, Royal Never Give Up, EHOME, Vici Gaming, Invictus Gaming, and Team MagMa.

Each of these Dota 2 giants will compete for a prize pool of $150K USD. They will play in a single round-robin format, where there will be two groups of four teams each. The first one will include EHOME, Vici Gaming, Royal Never Give Up and Team MagMa. Although EHOME is looking pretty strong, we think that Vici Gaming will be the favorite here.

The second group of the event is definitely going to be more interesting to watch. PSG.LGD will try to show why people consider them to be the best team in the world. However, it won’t be easy because they need to play against Elephant, iG and RNGU.

The Group Stage will begin on December 3 and each series will be in a BO3 format. Once the matches are over, the top teams from each group will proceed to the Semifinals. On the other hand, the teams that finish second and third will go to the Upper Bracket. Needless to say, the bottom team in each group will be eliminated.
