This just goes to show yet again how far esports has gone. Even though many people do not want to believe it, soon the esports scene will be even bigger than some of the most popular sports.

Today, OG officially announced a new sponsorship deal between the esports organization and Betway. According to OG, “This alliance continues their proud history and legacy of supporting the Dota 2 community and its champions.”
Finally, TI 9’s prize pool is now over $31M USD, making it the biggest prize pool ever in the history of esports. In fact, it even managed to surpass the Fortnite World Cup, which totaled up to $30M USD. This definitely makes this years’ TI the most anticipated tournament of the year.
What’s more, the competition this year also seems to be insane. Nearly every single participating team has a legitimate shot at the trophy. However, there could be only one winner.
