Dota 2: NiP Will Play in Europe for the First Qualifiers

If you are following the Dota 2 scene up close, you probably already know that Peter “ppd” Dager made a massive roster shuffle after NiP’s abysmal performance at TI 9. However, when the announcement was made, there was no information about the region of the team.

Europe

Today, a couple of days after the initial info, ppd said that his team will be playing in Europe. This is very strange because their current roster has three NA players. What’s more, NA is undoubtedly “easier” to play in right now.

Alongside the tweet, there is a 14-minute long video where ppd explains everything. Apart from talking about his team, he also emphasizes on some of the other new squads that were announced recently, mainly about Adrian “Fata” Trink’s latest team.

Coaching is also one of the topics that Peter talked about. It seems like NiP won’t be adding a coach anytime soon.

Whether or not we will see NiP changing their region in the future is still up in the air. However, in order for this to happen, the NA dota scene has to catch up to the other parts of the world.
