Peter “ppd” Dager revealed the new Ninjas in Pyjamas roster just a couple of days ago. That said, the team has already received direct invites for two events. Additionally, the first qualifiers for the 2019-2020 DPC are also just about to start.

The first event is ESL One Hamburg, which takes place around a month from now. Even though it’s not included in the DPC, ESL One Hamburg still has a pretty respectable prize pool of $300K USD. What’s more, some of the best teams in the world have already confirmed they will be there. The last directly invited team prior to NiP was TNC Predator. There are still a couple of slots left before the entire team roster is finalized.
DreamLeague Season 12
In addition to ESL’s event, NiP also received an invite for DreamLeague S12. In fact, this tournament will end just one week before the start of ESL One and it will take place in the Netherlands. However, there is not that much information about it yet. We only know that it will have a $250K prize pool, but that’s pretty much it. Ninjas in Pyjamas are going to try to make their mark during this DPC season. They managed to sort of do it during the last one but after their abysmal performance at TI 9, changes had to be made.
