Dota 2 News: TI 9 Battle Pass is already breaking records

The TI 9 Battle Pass is already smashing records only a few hours after its release.


Just a few hours after its release, the Battle Pass for this years’ TI has managed to accumulate a record-breaking prize pool.

The current prize pool is sitting is now over $6,000,000. According to sources, this is the highest Day 1 total the prize pool has reached in TI history. If it continues to grow like this, TI 9 will definitely be able to surpass last years’ prize pool.

 

Getting into the action

Players have three options if they want to purchase the Battle Pass. They can purchase the standard version at $9.99. Additionally, if players want to instantly level their Battle Pass to level 50 or 100, that have the option of spending $29.35 or $44.99, respectively. Valve adds 25% if the profits from the Battle Pass directly to the prize pool of TI 9. Imagine how much they could raise for the TI prize pool if they increased the percentage!
