Natus Vincere have built a solid team with familiar faces.
Na’Vi have announced their new roster, which will compete in the upcoming season of Dota 2. It wasn’t long when the organization announced reconstruction of their roster as three of their players, including Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev, left the squad. More on that here.
The Ukraine-based team has signed new players and a coach to stride forward in the competitive scene. Ivan “ArtStyle” Antonov is back as a coach, looking after the development of the team. ArtStyle is a veteran and a member of Na’Vi’s TI winning team in 2011.
Alexander “Lk-” Lemeshev has also joined the team as a manager. Working with Vega Squadron and Team Unique in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Lemeshev has the experience to spearhead the team.
Another old face, Viktor “GeneRaL” Nigrini has also come back from his inactive to play as the team’s offlaner. Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko and Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey, who were also inactive, have made their way into the active squad as position 2 and position 1, respectively.
Fresh additions include Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin from FlyToMoon as position 4 and Alexey “Solo” Berezin as position 5 from NoTechies.
The squad will prepare for the next season in a bootcamp around mid-September. The previous season was a disaster for the Na’Vi and the team is yet to reinstate their reputation as a formidable lineup in Dota 2. However, with the experienced players who were part of the TI winning lineup and some new faces, Natus Vincere looks stacked for a challenge.
