Dota 2: Misery And Piliedie Team Up Once Again

Rasmus “Misery” Filipsen is known for his attempts to form a competitive tier one team, we take a look at his newest offering alongside Johan “pieliedie” Astrom.

Over the last couple of years, Misery has had a few really promising teams but none of them was able to make it to the big stage.

Now, he's decided to team up with some of the former OG.Seed players in another attempt to break into the Tier 1 scene.

What happened with OG.Seed?

Those of you who’ve been following the Dota 2 scene for a while now probably remember that OG decided to introduce a second squad. However, due to the lack of good results, as well as tricky tournament regulations, OG.Seed ceased to exist.

Despite that, some of the best players from this team decided that they will try their luck yet again. This time, they will team up with two of the most experienced European Dota 2 players Misery and pieliedie.

The newest European Dota 2 team is called 5men, and features the following players:

  • Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard
  • Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin
  • Andreas Per “Xibbe” Regnemalm
  • Rasmus “Misery” Filipsen
  • Johan “pieliedie” Astrom

Apart from the former OG.Seed players (Chessie and Xibbe), another really interesting name is Ace, This used to be one of the most promising carry players while he used to play for NiP. However, due to a lot of bad results, Peter “ppd” Dagger and his team-mates decided to disband.

We'll be able to see the team in action at the upcoming qualifiers for the OMEGA League. As you know, the EU and CIS qualifiers begin on the August 1. Those who manage to survive will get the chance to play in either the Immortal or the Divine brackets.
