Looks like Mineski has found their replacement for the recently released Ahjit.
Mineski Reloaded
Mineski announced the addition of Nikobaby this morning as a replacement for their long-time carry, Ahjit. This DPC season has been very hard for Mineski. In fact, their most notable performance is a second place at ESL One Mumbai, which was not even a DPC event.
Just a few days ago, the team also announced that their long-time carry player Ahjit will also be leaving. This decision might have been under the influence of emotions after Mineskis poor performance in the lat Minor which closed the door for them for a direct invite for TI 9.
Welcome @NikoDOTA!
Nikolay "Nikobaby" Nikolov will be joining as as our carry player as we aim to qualify for TI2019. Our finalized roster:
1. Nikobaby
2. Moon @moon_dota
3. kpii @kpiidota
4. raging-_-potato @ragingpotatwo
5. ninjaboogie pic.twitter.com/tiJRwm7zKX— Mineski Pro Team | TI9 (@MineskiProTeam) June 26, 2019
Having said that, the team decided to add a new carry player to their roster. Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov is one of the strongest Bulgarian Dota 2 players in the last couple of years. What’s more, he also has plenty of experience in the SEA scene after playing for WG.Unity and Clutch gamers before that.
What’s next?
The next challenge ahead of Nikobaby and Mineski is going to be the TI 9 qualifiers. They are due to start shortly after the EPICENTER Major is over, which means in just a couple of days.
Mineski’s current roster is as follows:
- Nikobaby
- Moon
- kpii
- Bimbo
- Ninjaboogie
