MDL Disneyland Paris: The First Dota 2 Major to be Hosted in France

Disneyland in Paris and Mars Media are teaming up to bring the first ever Dota 2 Major in France. The tournament will take place in May, and it will be the fourth Major of this year’s Pro Circuit. Some of the best Dota 2 teams in the world will fight each other at Disney’s Newport Bay Club and Disney Events Arena. The top-performing teams in the six online regional qualifiers will compete in front of a massive 6000+ crowd.

This Major will also be the first time that Mars Media has decided to organize a tournament outside China. Of course, the MDL Disneyland Major is also critical because it will award a large amount of DPC points. As we know, they are needed in order to qualify for the upcoming TI 9, which will be held this summer at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai, China.
