Dota 2: MATUMBAMAN to take a Break from Pro Play

The International 2019 was not the best for Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen, to say the least. After he got removed from TI 7 line-up of Team Liquid, Lasse was looking for a new team to compete in the TI 9 qualifiers.

A couple of days later he ended up with Rasmus “MISERY” Filipsen’s Chaos Esports Club, which had pretty decent players on paper. Even though they stomped during the qualifiers, their TI 9 performance was disastrous. The team finished last in Group A without a single win in a series.

Post TI 9

The future ahead of Chaos Esports Club is still uncertain. It is very likely to see some changes coming soon. Having said that, Matumbaman just announced that he would be taking some time off until the second Major. Hopefully, we will see him back in action soon. After all, many players are looking for a new team now, so you never know. We might see a new team forming soon after EternalEnvy announced his today.
