Dota 2: MATUMBAMAN Returns To Team Liquid; Qojqva Moves To Streaming

Fascinating changes in Team Liquid’s squad.

Liquid pounced on the opportunity to get Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen on their team. It was not long before Team Secret announced that the 26-year-old will no longer be a part of their future plans. Max “qojqva” Bröcker has moved to streaming and making content for the org in the meantime.

Matu was part of Liquid’s squad under Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi. After leaving in the middle of 2019, he joined Chaos EC and later Team Secret where he teamed up with Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg who has also joined Liquid with Matu. However, the players' positions have not been confirmed yet.

The entry of zai and Matu meant the team had to make space for the new players. Qojqva joined Liquid when the org signed the former Alliance squad after that org dropped them in 2019. He now intends to move to streaming for Team Liquid. However, this doesn't mean that Brian “BSJ” Canavan will leave his streaming. In fact, BSJ and Qojqva will stream together at times and plan on making even more content for Liquid fans.

Team Liquid has a lot of possibilities with so many players in their squad. It is not clear if others will leave the team to make space for recent additions, but Liquid will soon lock their roster which will confirm things for everyone.
