Yesterday, Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann decided to part ways with Choas Esports Club.
The post-TI roster changes are in full force across the Dota 2 landscape. While Mineski, Complexity and Fnatic have already seen changes, Choas Esports Club is the next in line. Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann announced yesterday that he will leave the Chaos roster.
Out of all the changes so far, this one isn't very surprising, especially considering Chaos EC’s performance at TI 9. Despite having a stable roster of players on paper, they failed to live up to expectations at TI.
There could be many reasons for their poor performance in Shanghai. The most notable one is the short time they had as a team. After all, Chaos Esports Club formed just before the TI 9 regional qualifiers. Despite that, they dominated those qualifiers, and many people expected them to at least exit the Group Stage. Unfortunately, this did not happen as Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalaine and Co. finished last in Group A.

Following Chaos EC's disappointing performance, Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann was the first player to announce he was leaving the squad. Additionally, there are some rumors about a full rebuild of Chaos EC. For now, however, there have been no other official announcements.
