The Chinese Dota 2 scene has been absolutely flourishing in the last couple of months. Apart from Vici Gaming, who is probably the best team in the world right now, there are also a couple of other teams that stand out. Sadly, Keen Gaming is not one of them.
Ever since the roster changes that took place after TI 9, KG failed to impress. Of course, there is still a lot of time left until this season is over, so it’s too early to draw conclusions. However, if KG wants to make something happen, they have to make a change.
The first step towards improving their gameplay is acquiring a new coach. You may not remember him, but Tang “71” Wenyi is one of the oldest Dota 2 players. He has a lot of coaching experience under his belt in many top teams before, including EHOME.
With him by their side, Keen Gaming will try to pick themselves up and start finally winning again. They definitely have what it takes to be among to best, so it could just be a matter of time.
Sadly, Keen Gaming wasn’t able to qualify for the second Major. As a result, we will have to wait until February to see them in action. They will take part in the third set of the DPC qualifiers.
