Dota 2: gpk to Play for Team Spirit

Gpk becomes the latest Gambit player who will be a stand-in.

As you know, one of the hottest ongoing tournaments right now is the WePlay! Pushka League. Unfortunately, one of the big names here (Gambit Esports) decided to decline their participation in the event. This was very unexpected because Gambit didn’t have the best results in the last online event. As a result, people thought that they’d try to make up for this. But that didn’t happen.

So, naturally, some of their players decided to stand-in for other teams, in order to keep themselves in form. One of them was Gambit’s captain – Artsiom “fng” Barshak, who went to play with Alliance. The second player that is also filling in a spot for another team is Maxim “Shachlo” Abramovskikh.

Who's the latest one?

Today, we’ve found out that there is one more player from Gambit who will help another team, and that’s Danil “gpk” Skutin. He will try to help Team Spirit, who are in a rough place right now in WePlay!’s event. There are just a few days until the Group Stage is over, so hopefully, gpk will be able to make a difference. He will replace Egor “Ergon ‘Kozlov, who is having a health problem.

With the recent change, Team Spirit’s roster looks like this;

  • Anton “DyrachYO” Shkredov
  • Danil “gpk” Skutin
  • Vasily “AfterLife” Shishkin
  • Alexander “Immersion” Hmelevskoy
  • Mihail “Misha” Agatov

As we’ve mentioned above, there are just a few days left until the group stage is over. Unfortunately, Team Spirit are currently occupying one of the last spots in the CIS groups. However, they still have the potential of going forward, so it will be very interesting to see what will happen.
