Here's the latest news from the Chinese Dota 2 scene.
Royal Never Give Up has decided to make a signing that will finalize their roster. After they removed Du “Moment” Peng, the team decided to add “Zhong “God King” Liushuai to their roster. He is one of the most promising Chinese Dota 2 players, who is amazing in the carry role. However, he used to play for Sparking Arrow Gaming, which is a team that just couldn’t manage to breakthrough.
Which team did he play for before that?
If you’ve been following the Chinese Dota 2 scene, you know that God King used to play for Newbee. In fact, he was pretty good there, but the organization decided to make drastic changes. As a result, he decided to team up with Royal, where he even tried competing for TI 9.
Needless to say, this didn’t go well, which is why he joined Sparking Arrow Gaming. There, the young player proved himself as one of the best Spectre and Anti-Mage players in the Chinese Dota 2 scene. As a result, he helped his team win the Beyond Epic: China division. Many of you might not remember but SAG even won against PSG.LGD, RNG, and even Vici Gaming.
We really wish the player all the best. Hopefully, the new roster will allow RNGU to shine and become of China’s best teams. This is the current roster:
- Zhong “God King” Liushuai
- Gao “Setsu” Zhenxiong
- Sun “Srf” Runfa
- Chong “FelixCiaoBa” Wei Lun
- Xie “Super” Junhao
Even though we don’t know when will RNGU play, we hope to see them in action soon.
