Gambit Esports was a very controversial team during the last DPC season. However, it seems like their new roster which is made around the CIS Artsiom “fng” Barshack is already giving its results. The team managed to win the GG.Bet Hamburg Invitational, which gave them a slot for ESL One Hamburg 2019 where they will join some of the best teams in the world.
Bet Invitational
This tournament features eight invited teams. There were many interesting matches that took place but Gambit Esports was definitely the team that stood out. After having little to no trouble going to the Grand Finals, they met FlyToMoon.
Despite the fact that many people predicted FTM would win, this did not happen. Instead, Gambit was able to seize control of the game and took the victory with a clear 2-0.

Apart from being one of ESL’s most famous events, it is also a joy to watch. This year, seven teams will be directly invited. On the contrary, four will have to get there through the regional qualifiers, whereas the last one is the GG. Bet winner – Gambit.
So far, we only know the names of two direct invites – VP and TNC Predator. However, there should be more information about the other teams soon. Don’t forget that this is a $300K USD tournament, despite the fact it’s not included in the DPC.
