After a few bad series, Execration decided to part ways with Ryan Jay “Raging Potato” Qui.
Execration is one of the only SEA teams that managed to qualify for TI. However, their performance in the last couple of years was not as impressive as it once was. A few months ago, the team released Don Carlo “BDz” Manalo and a few other players in an attempt to reform its roster.
However, it seems like the changes weren’t enough because today the SEA team also released Raging Potato.
What happened?
We are officially announcing the departure of 🇵🇭Ryan Jay "RagingPotato" Qui from the team as he will be focusing in his family first.
While we welcome 🇵🇭Yuri Dave "YoweDota" Pacana to the Execration Family as he officially joins our team https://t.co/UEfeJU1BYF pic.twitter.com/CXoTAmYWFx

After BDz and Jijnn Marrey “Palos” P. Lamatao left the team, Raging Potato made a transition to position four. It seems like this wasn’t a good idea because Execration wasn’t able to take part in any of the big SEA events.
In fact, their most notable tournament was the OMEGA League Asia, where they secured a second-place finish in the Divine Division. Sadly, we haven’t seen them in action since then.
Now, a few months after the changes, Execration decide to bring back BDz to their roster in favor of Raging Potato. Apart from him, the team will also welcome Yuri Dave “Yowe” Pacana and Elo. Both of those players don’t have a lot of competitive experience, which is why it will be interesting to see their performance.
We will keep an eye on Execration and let you know if there are any changes. Feel free to follow ESTNN if you want to learn more information about the professional Dota 2 scene.
