EHOME claimed a big victory this weekend.
After the global COVID-19 pandemic took over the world, some of the best teams in china decided to create their very own league. The idea behind this decision was to have a place where they can practice until the pandemic is over.
The DPL-CDA Professional League began on April 27 and it featured 10 teams. Apart from training, each of these teams also played for a prize pool of $70K USD.
One of the biggest Dota 2 controversies in the last couple of years actually took place just a few days ago. The TI-winning organization (Newbee) got disqualified because they were accused of match-fixing. Needless to say, there was a severe community backlash but despite that, the team was removed from the event. As a result, each of their victories was given in favor of their opponents.
Even though no one expected EHOME to be the winner, the team took first place with a perfect score of 9-0. This is impressive, considering the fact that EHOME had to play against the like of Vici and PSG.LGD. Despite that, the Chinese powerhouse managed to stand their ground.
Following their success, EHOME took place $36K USD, which is a decent amount of money. We can’t wait to see them in action once more. Until that happens, make sure to follow ESTNN on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
