Dota 2: Dota Underlords Season One is Coming

It’s been nearly ten months since Dota Underlords was first introduced. After hopping on the “auto battlers hype train”, the game became extremely popular and even surpassed Dota 2 in terms of players.

However, as time went on, the hype for the game has died down. As a result, the game lost over 90% of its initial player base and many people thought that it would end up like Artifact.

Having said that, Valve decided to continue innovating here and released constant updates. As a result, we are now just a few days away before the first official season begins. In five days from now, people who play Dota Underlords will finally be out of the Early Access and go straight into Season One.

Since this is going to be a special event, there will be an exclusive Launch Party on Twitch. According to the official release, some big-name favorite personalities will be there.

What will change when the first season arrives?

This is a very trending question that needs to be answered. Even though Valve didn’t say anything about it, many people suspected that players will have to start from scratch yet again. However, this is not true because there will be a couple of things that will transit from the beta.

First, players who took part in the Beta Season will keep their Major ranks. This is great because it will save them a lot of grinding time. However, all Minor ranks will be reset to one. These changes will apply to Duos, Standard, and Knockout ranks. Having said that, the only thing that will be reset to Big Boss III is Lords of White Spire.

There will be a brand new default board, as well as five new ones that you can unlock. Nevertheless, if you’ve reached level five in the Protopass before, you will be rewarded with the following boards:

• Path of Sunbreeze
• Streets of White Spire

Lastly, if you’ve reached level five in the Bet Season, you will also receive a golden Ricky Ravenhook board prop, as well as a Beta Season wanted poster title.

What’s new in Season One?

There will be many new things that we can’t wait to see. Having said that, Valve already confirmed a couple of interesting things. For example, there will be many new features such as ways to customize your Lodaut and more. You will also be able to earn Achievements that will unlock more titles.

The first official season of Dota Underlrods begins this Tuesday, the 25th of February. Apart from Steam, the game will also be available on iOS and Android.
