Danil “Dendi” Ishutin announces his return to the professional Dota 2 scene.
Danil “Dendi” Ishutin is one of the most recognizable names in Dota 2. The legendary mid-laner has been a part of the professional Dota 2 scene for over 10 years now, ever since he played for team DTS back in DotA.
Natus Vincere
However, he became what he is today during his time at Natus Vincere. The Ukrainian superstar played for this team for over seven years. As you can imagine, he won everything with then, including the first-ever TI title.
Unfortunately, after a series of bad results, he and the organization decided its high time to move forward. That’s when Dendi left Na’Vi and tried his luck elsewhere – SEA. Even though he teamed up with some very well known players there, his team couldn’t really stand out.
CIS Scene
Once his SEA experiment didn’t work, Dendi returned to the CIS dota scene. In fact, he even said in an interview that he plans to create his very own organization. However, it seems like his plans will have to wait because, according to the Valve registration page, he has teamed up with Alik “V-tune” Vorobey, Alexey “nongrata” Vasilyev, Rinat “KingR” Abdullin and Nikola “LeBronDota” Popovic under the name Viet Flashbacks.
The new team will compete at the upcoming qualifiers for the new DPC tournaments. As you can imagine, it will be very hard for them to battle through the deadly CIS scene.
