Virtus.Pro’s coach is no longer a part of the team.
Those of you who follow the CIS Dota 2 scene probably know that Anatoly “Boo1k” Ivanov was VPs coach for the last six months. He joined the team after the big TI 9 roster shuffle. However, VP’s results weren’t really all that good, especially in the first couple of months.
Perhaps the biggest reason for that was VP’s two young players. They had absolutely no competitive experience. Even though Roman “Resolut1ion” Fominok joined the squad, he was not enough to make it work properly.
What happened after the bad results?

As we’ve mentioned above, VPs results were just abysmal in the first couple of months. However, this changed lately because they’ve started winning yet again. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 situation now completely shut down the LAN Dota 2 scene.
It seems like Virtus.Pro will use this time to think about what they’ll do in the future. As a result, the legendary CIS organization decided to release Ivanov from its staff.
Here is what Sergey Glamazda, VP’s General manager had to say about Boo1k's departure;
“Anatoly did a lot for VP in TI9 and contributed immensely to our updated roster after the event. We would like to thank him for his bold ideas and great effort in training. We wish Boo1k only the best in his future career.”
