After switching teams a couple of times in the last few months, Black^ is now a part of LGD.International.
Once a legendary team, LGD.International was “restored” a few months back. It features an entirely SEA roster that looked very promising. While it’s true that they had some good results in the beginning, the team couldn’t really achieve much after that.
What happened?
LGD.International announced their new roster, featuring Black^ in a Facebook post earlier today.
LGD.International had the uneasy task to play in the ESL One LA Major qualifiers. Even though they had their chances, they were eliminated fairly early on. After that, the COVID-19 situation pretty much changed the world as we know it as most events were canceled.
At the time of these events, another promising team also failed up to live to the expectations. T1 had a very good roster but the players just couldn’t stack properly. As a result the carry of the team — Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier decided to leave in search of something new.
The next chapter
Now, a few weeks after that happened, Black^ announced that he will be joining LGD.International’s new roster. However, instead of playing a carry, he will have to fill in the mid role. As you probably know, LGD.Int’s carry player is Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son, who is one of the most promising SEA players. He was previously a part of PSG.LGD but his stay there wasn’t so good. As a result, the team decided to bench this player, thus, he ended up here.
With that said, here is the current LGD.International roster;
- Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son
- Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier
- Wang “Gy” Kok
- Pang “BrayaNt`” Jian Zhe
- Rayy
On paper, this team looks to be very promising, so we are yet to see what will happen. There are a couple of tournaments coming up soon, so we can’t wait to see them in action. Until then. make sure to follow us on our social media accounts for more info.
