If you watched TI 9, you probably know that Infamous was one of the biggest surprises of the tournament. They caught everyone by surprise and even managed to break the record for a South American team with their top-eight finish. However, prior to joining Infamous, the five players played under the name Team Anvorgesa.
They had no sponsors, but despite that, they were able to completely demolish the South American qualifiers and ended up getting that spot for TI 9. Despite that, soon after the event ended, Infamous decided to drop them.
New beginnings
We are proud to announce the signing of the Anvorgesa stack, coming off their inspiring top 8 run at TI9.

It seems like Hector “K1” Rodriguez’s stack is just too good to remain without an organization. That’s why from now on, they will play under the NA organization’s banner – Beastcoast.
“Beastcoast has always been about supporting emerging talent and having fun, and we think this team is the epitome of that approach. Anvorgesa caught my eye at TI9 before they even stepped on to the stage. Their growth as a team over the last DPC season, and their will to win are all things that we as an organization want to promote. This was a natural fit, and we are excited to make waves with them this season!” said BC’s CEO Grant Zinn
Beastcoast
In case you forgot, Beastcoast used to have a Dota 2 team earlier this year. In fact, they signed Jacky “EternalEnVy” Mao’s Team Team prior to MDL Disneyland Major. However, things did not work out at all and not long after, the organization remained without a Dota 2 team. Before that, they managed to find some substitutes in order to compete at the TI 9 regional qualifiers. Unfortunately, they were eliminated very early on after a loss against J.Storm.
Beastcoast’s new roster from 1 to 5:
- Hector “K1” Rodriguez
- Jean Pierre “Chris Luck” Gonzales
- Adrian “Wisper” Dobles
- Elvis De la Cruz “Scofield” Pena
- Steven “StingeR” Vargas
