We've seen many interesting moments in the Dota 2 scene in the last couple of years. That said, this sets a new precedent made in Dota 2. For the first time ever, a team disbands while they are in the middle of a tournament.
Everything was going as planned after the most anticipated match of the day – Alliance vs Na’Vi. However, when Beastcoast had to face Fighting Peppegas, they announced that their team has disbanded and they will not be taking part in the last match of the day.
This caught everyone off guard, including the organizers of the event. Having very limited options, they decided to form a new team made of casters. Needless to say, it was definitely an interesting thing to watch.
Be sure to watch the remaining series at this extraordinary event. Who knows what kind of bounties are the players going to do next.
