Just days after joining PSG.LGD, Ahjit is now inactive.
The Los Angeles Major Major qualifiers are nearly over in some regions after we saw a couple of days of action. However, that’s not the case with China where the qualifiers were postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Ahjit inactive for the qualifiers
As result of recent preparations for training, player Lai Jieshan "Ahjit" temporarily transitioned to inactive status.
The line up of @PSGeSports team for ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Major China Open is as follows:
– ASD
– Somnus`M
– Chalice
– fY
– xNova#LGDGaming #PSGLGD— LGD Gaming (@LGDgaming) February 12, 2020
Despite that, we are sad to inform PSG.LGD’s fans that Lai Jieshan “Ahjit”won’t be able to play in these qualifiers. According to the official announcement, he will be temporarily moved to inactive status as a result of his preparations for training.
This is very unfortunate because the player joined PSG just a few days ago, in a swap with CDEC for Wang “Ame” Chunyu. The move came after LGD decided the team needed some change. Their performance hasn’t been great after they came back from TI 9, so this wasn't unexpected.
Nevertheless, we will have to wait a bit longer to see what will Ahjit bring to the new roster. We will probably see him in the Major itself, should LGD be able to qualify.
- Here is LGD’s final current roster for the ESL One Los Angeles Major China Open Qualifiers:
Li “ASD” Zhiwen
- Lu “Somnus丶M” Yao
- Yang “Chalice”‘ Shenyi
- Xu “fy” Linsen
- Jian Wei “xNova” Yap
Be sure to watch the remaining days of the qualifiers for this upcoming tournament. We already know the names of some teams that will be going there. However, there are still more to go — so definitely stick around.
