Dota 2: Aghanim’s Trials Starts Today

Here's what you need to know about this years special event.
Every summer, the Dota 2 fans receive a special event that they can take part in. This year, it’s called Aghanim’s Labyrinth and it’s really fun. Having said that, a few days after it was released, the Aghanim’s Trials is finally open.
This means that all of you who’ve managed to defeat Aghanim himself on the first level difficulty will get the chance to shine.
What do I need to do in order to play?
Aghanim's Trials begin in 8 hours! In addition to the top-place finisher, one randomly selected team that defeats the Act 1 Boss will also receive the Interdimensional Baby Roshan reward. Labyrinth difficulty is set to Magician. #Dota2 pic.twitter.com/IW2Dp4LRtW

One of the things that were a bit controversial about this event were the difficulties. At first, people thought that they'd need to complete the event on all four difficulties before they could take part in the Trials. However, it turned out this isn't the case.
Instead, Valve now allows everyone who completed the event on the first difficulty to take part in the Aghanim’s Trials and compete for some pretty lucrative rewards, including:
- Aghanim’s Interdimensional Baby Roshan
- Waterlogged Kunkka Shoes
- Random Arcana
- A special in-game Aghanim’s effect after the first boss is dead
