CS:GO: Zeus Named Official Trophy Bearer for IEM Katowice

Zeus has been given the honor of carrying on a CS:GO tradition.

The tradition of Counter-strike personalities participating in the IEM Katowice opening ceremony will live on. This year, ex-Natus Vincere captain and in-game leader, Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko will carry the tradition of bringing the champion's trophy to the stage.

Zeus was named as the official trophy bearer at IEM Katowice by the tournament operator ESL. The 32-year-old veteran will participate in the opening ceremony on Friday at Spodek Arena. As a player, Zeus found success at Katowice in 2010 and 2011 with legendary Natus Vincere roster. During this time he took the crown twice and played in multiple other Katowice tournaments.

Previously, a “Golden Five” player, Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, was the trophy bearer at IEM Katowice 2018. The year before, Patrik “cArn” Sättermon, a legendary Fnatic player, was the one who brought the trophy to the scene.
