CSGO: StarLadder Major Talent Revealed

StarLadder has announced the official broadcast team for the Berlin Major

With the Main Qualifier getting underway in just under two days, StarLadder has announced the names and faces of the broadcast. Alex “Machine” Richardson and Tres “stunna” Saranthus will be hosting the desk alongside Matthew “Sadokist” Trivett who confirmed that he would be working on the desk last Tuesday. Richardson will instead be casting certain series with Trivett’s long-time casting partner Henry “HenryG” Greer.

Sue “Smix” Lee and James “BanKs” Banks will be conducting the player interviews throughout the event, making this Banks’ first Major appearance despite working extensively with Star Ladder in the past. Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill, Jacob “Pimp” Winneche and Sean “seang@res” Gares will also be making up the bulk of the analyst desk, following on from their appearances at the IEM Katowice Major.

Aside from Richardson and Greer, StarLadder has sourced three other casting duos. Daniel “ddk” Kapadia and James Bardolph make their return to the Major’s after they missed out on an appearance at the IEM Katowice Major. In a similar fashion to Banks, Harry “JustHarry” Russel and Hugo Byron will be making their Major debuts following their coverage of the Minors.

Initially, a Dexetro report suggested that key members of talent would no be present at the Major. These included Duncan “Thorin” Shields, Anders Blume and Jason “moses” O’Toole. O’Toole and Blume have now been confirmed as a commentary duo. However, Shields has not been formally announced as a talent member for the Berlin Major, despite rumors that StarLadder was in negotiations with the analyst. Shields had hinted, on the podcast By The Numbers #87, that his appearance was in consideration despite initially being passed over.

The Berlin Major gets underway this Friday, starting with the New Challengers stage.
