CS:GO: Starix Officially Joins Hard Legion As Coach

Hard Legion say goodbye to zoneR and hello to new coach starix.

After recent issues with coaching bug abuse in CS:GO and following the departure of Aleksandr “zoneR” Bogatiryev, Hard Legion announced their new coach; Sergey “starix” Ischuk.

Previous to standing down, zoneR received a 24-month penalty from ESL for his abuse of the coaching bug across multiple matches and tournaments.
Aleksandr was one of the first three coaches initially banned for use of the bug. He faced the punishment alongside \Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen and Ricardo “dead” Sinigaglia. These bans came ahead of a massive detailed investigation, covering thousands of CS:GO matches played within the last 4 years.

As starix joins Hard Legion, assistant coach Erik “AKIMOV” Akimov is stepping down.

Despite zoneR's use of the coaching bug at the RMR tournament,  Hard Legion's players faced no penalties. The organization as a whole also managed to get off without facing any official reprimand.

With that said, Hard Legion's roster is now:

  • Semyon “kinqie” Lisitsyn
  • Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko
  • Igor “Forester” Bezotecheskiy
  • Svyatoslav “svyat” Dovbakh
  • Dmitry “rAge” Bolotov
  • Sergey “starix” Ischuk (coach)
