CS:GO: Sources Say Legendary Tag K23 Will Be Revived By Syman Gaming

An iconic team is returning to the Counter-Strike scene.

According to the information provided by the Russian Telegram media CYBERSLOVO, Syman Gaming plans to rebrand and revive famous team k23 (Kazahstan 2030).

K23 was initially created in 2004. Throughout its existence, the team won about $100,000 in CS 1.6, CS: Source and CS:GO, according to Liquipedia. After five years, in late 2009, k23 merged with the remanent of Virtus.Pro to create UNiTED. Murat “Arbalet“ Zhumashevich was the main sponsor of k23 for a long time back then. Apparently, he doesn’t mind reviving the tag.

Previously, a number of famous players had represented the k23 tag. They did so at events including GameGune 2012 and WESG 2016 & 2018 appearances. These noteworthy names are Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev, Rustem “mou” Telepov, Asset “Solaar” Sembiev, Abay “HObbit” Khasenov, Sanzhar “neaLan” Iskhakov and Dastan “dastan” Akbayev.
