CS:GO: Shox Joins Team Liquid

Team Liquid have made some massive headlines.

Richard “shox” Papillon has joined Team Liquid as part of their recent roster rebuild. The North American organization has made some important changes before the start of 2022.

Liquid were always looking to change their CS:GO lineup after benching Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip, Michael “Grim” Wince and Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo. Their performance in the previous season has been poor and a roster change was imminent.

After acquiring Joshua “oSee” Ohm from Extra Salt, Liquid have shox’s experience to add to the seasoned squad with names like Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski and Keith “NAF” Markovic. Being linked with them way back in November, it was only a matter of time when the 29-year-old joined Liquid.

Team Liquid are in a tough spot. Even though they are changing the roster, it will be a challenge for them to get things together and build up a good team chemistry before the tournaments. Eric “adreN” Hoag has a massive part to play in the upcoming months of the NA side. Hopefully shox can come in with a lot of confidence; as the French star was renowned for his clutch, gameplay and a trophy at IEM Winter.

Team Liquid will face tough challenges in the upcoming IEM Katowice event, which will start on February 15, 2022.
